Brain Drain
It's been a busy week.
A friend of mine has received a request for her full manuscript. Very stoked for her.
Another friend is self-publishing a collection of his short stories. VERY stoked for him, and I am paying close attention. His cover artwork is stunning.
Yet another friend is a one-man publishing company, and is doing very well. He's a machine.
The client for whom I edited last year turned in her re-write to me. I am SO FUCKING HAPPY with what she did. I need to finish up her 2nd edit and then watch her fly. So gratifying :))))
Me? Still writing web-dreck and trying to think my way out of the Pallas Situation. I need to do some serious brainstorming. But, finishing this damned thing isn't the last of my worries -- there's still a query letter and synopsis to think about. And the second book.
In the meantime, I'm writing about rare earth minerals, rolling briefcases, and arm surgery, among other things.
I'm tired and my brain hurts.
