the weatherman says we are supposed to get snow on thursday, friday, saturday, sunday, monday, and tuesday. he also says our highs next week (with snow cover taken into consideration) should be in the teens with lows in the 3's and 4's.

of course, he prefaced all of this by saying we're still a few days out yet, and it could be nothing at all.

i just bet.

that's what they call a busted forecast, so they say.

i want my snow!!!! i've been waiting ever so long, and it's so stinking cold we might as well have some fun in it i think.

i just had another florist call to request my services. he wants me to start the end of this week, and work permanently part time 3 days a week, which could work into full time. the lady who owns the shop is 81 years old and still working!!! holy jehosaphat!!!

i need more hours, like now. i also already committed to the other shop, sort of. and the shop i already sort of committed to is paying more, even if it's just for a week and a half. and it's still possible that i could get in there and be hired for a permanent position.

decisions, decisions.

neither job pays enough really, but it's a start. i wouldn't know how to act if i didn't have some struggle in my life, financial or otherwise.

this is why i don't watch the news (which i have now turned off).

a young couple here in northern ky bound their 4 yr old son and placed him in a closet while they went to a family reunion. i don't know how long he was in the closet, but he died. i don't know his cause of death.

why wouldn't they take their son to a family reunion???

what's wrong with people???

granted, i don't know the whole story, but c'mon...

it's stuff like this that makes me rethink my stand on the death penalty again and again...
