on the old wallet, which is already so far below empty it will *never* recover.

had a dental cleaning today. told the hygenist that my tooth has started feeling tender again - the one i had the root canal on in may. she took an xray, and there is yet another abscess in it.

it seems the tooth has a miniscule crack in it, probably caused by all the grinding i do (i have a bite guard i wear at night, but still i chew all the time apparently), which has allowed ooky stuff to get down into the root canal, and that's how this is setting up.

so, it's either lose the tooth completely, which i am NOT willing to do, or spend big money to have it extracted and replaced with something else.

not to mention it's gonna hurt like a muthahfu*ker, again.

*sigh*

the dentist put me on antibiotics, which he says are very strong and will probably make me sick to my tummy (and no doubt set up the dreaded yeast infection) but we're going to try this route first to see if it will clear up.

he's not counting on it, especially if it's a crack in the tooth. it will recur.

the least it will cost with insurance is $2000 and could go as high as $3300. and yes, that is after the deductible is met and the insurance co pays their part.

i can't tell you how much this pisses me off, especially because it's my own damn fault. i let it go for far too long before i had it looked at.

the dentist said that the doctor who did the root canal did a perfect job. he showed me the xrays and as far as i could tell it looked clear after the root canal, and i could see the spot on the xray they took today. yes, there was a difference.

so, waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

that's my pissnmoan for the day.

other than that, everything is loverly.
