Paint Stains

As of 3:30 pm today, the paper under Lament cried out that it'll had enough and it was time to put the brush down. The two things I regret in this picture is that the paper has only barely been able to take all my layering of colors, and that once parts of the paper have been waxed with a candle, those parts repel water like plastic and can't be repainted.

But! I've got a borderless painting now on a 12" x 16" piece of paper (it was completely painted while still on the paper block) that I'm very proud to have done. It's got a lot behind it. More later!
