watched a few movies, dropped/chopped a few trees and burnt them[mmmmm, warmness], gambled here and there[lost, mostly], poured a sidewalk/installed flooring/hung drywall, and mostly just kept busy...if I get some time, Ill go into detail about that stuff. problem is, Im so fucking boring that I put myself to sleep...

other news:

Shaun: he's having another baby, he's sending apps all over the country for a math teacher position at a college[the best paying, natch], he lost a game of chess to me[first game I won since we started playing online many many months ago], and him, Megan, and Josh are happy--the perfect american dream couple. Im proud of him.

Mikie: beating my ass left and right at chess, [Im not sure if he's getting better or Im getting worse], working 40 hours a week in the florida sunshine, and trying to find a woman.

the weather: its nuts, 6 inches of snow last week, then a quick melt with the recent warm-up, snow yesterday, huge pretty flakes that immediately covered my pencil line making cutting flooring a challenge, and temps up and down like crazy. hard to believe this is december.

okay, more coffee, a few more ciggies, and Im off to work. we're putting down ceramic tile, hardwood, and some 12x12 inch vinyl tiles in a house.
