2008-09-27 9:02 PM what Im reading (and reading and reading and etcetcetc) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (3) damn near finished with The Firm (bout 40 pages or so, it'll be finished tonight unless Vic talks me into watching a movie), and got several choices looking me in the face (3 thick hardbacks borrowed from shadyside library, 3 or 4 well-loved paperbacks borrowed from a bud) and I'm happy as a pig in shit.
so far Ive read The Client, The Chamber, The Rainmaker, The Partner, The King of Torts, and The Appeal and every book is a winner. so far Im not tired of his writing. sometimes theres slow parts, but mostly these stories blast through to the end--with crazy and usually unforeseen 'real feeling' climaxes. in Grisham's world, the good guy does not always ride into the sunset with the bag'o money, and I like that. its great to find an author and a bunch of his work that is so enjoyable. I recommend Grisham's books very highly. on a side note, I got tomorrow off...was gonna set-up at the flea market in the early morn but it looks like rain--that idea is nixed--so Ill prolly read and sleep and read some more. sound good to you? does to me. k, nite-nite all :) Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
