theres some big sunday puzzlers as well as the normal sized ones. and if youre like me, you like 'em a dab hard but not borderline impossible--of which these are.

you gotta d/l a thingie so as to have the puzzle box (or whatever the freak its called), and then theres scores of new puzzles to do. seeing as how I lost interest in sudokus, I got hooked on the crosswords in the nightly newspaper, but one a day is simply not enough.

a story update?
wow, funny you should ask.

the story is plowing ahead quite righteously. I had to kill his father and put some stuff in about granny and the famous pittsburgh flood of '36, and that stuff helped like you wouldnt believe. wordcount is at 5442 and I believe it'll be maybe 4-600 to do the ending. then Ill put it on a diet and cut whatever it takes.

this one is going all the way. it may never be published, but that wont be from lack of trying.

this story is falling together odd for me. I kinda had a more or less finished thing (with the wrong ending, tho) so after I knifed the last couple'a hundred words and decided on another ending it helped...but now I add something here and something there and its actually working. usually I write a passage and then another and theres seldom any "major" additions anywhere near---I'd put any additional stuff somewhere else--but doing it this way--adding stuff just about anywhere in the body--is kinda new to me.

wanna know how silly I am? remember I said I was taking my own email addy from this journal's post alert? well, I did...then I forgot I did cuz I posted the other day and when I didnt get an alert I figgered something was fucked with journalscape. I actually took a few minutes and doublechecked to see if maybe I'd posted it as private and then I remembered what Id done

started watching the movie 21 today and kinda grew tired of it fast. Ill try again tomorrow---I wanna read more of orwell's 1984 tonight. although that book started weird as hell, its grown on me something fierce. am on pg 61 and digging it.
