okay, so I didnt do anything constructive yesterday or as of yet today. but ya ever have one of those periods where youre just blah? like all this shit really aint all that important. I mean, it is important (the refurbishing of the house, making money, talking, stuff like that...) but I feel like I got a bug up my ass, a chip on my shoulder maybe, and just wanna do nothing but stare at things. slept til nine this morning then took a nap at eleven til 3 today. wow, eh?

I think I got the winter blues, is what I think. Im serious, I cannot wait til the big thaw. its even kinda warmish today but still aint shortsleeve weather yet. so I dont wanna go out there. 40 degrees is just not warm enough.

I did write a bit yesterday. maybe 200 words or so. the story summer '09 will prolly wither and die cuz its been stupid and getting stupider. its present tense 1st person about a guy accepting an award and all the stuff thats going through his mind and I think Im just too far off the mark to make it into anything. guess let it sit awhile, see if theres any life in it one day. hell, Ill just start a new story. that'll lern 'em.

finished Connolly's book and liked it so much I started another. The Reaper [his newest--the Unquiet was next-to-last]. so far Im not overly impressed, but theres enough plot to keep me turning pages. I'll end up reading all his books.

same with Sandra Brown. just finished Unspeakable and thought it above average. got Smokescreen waiting out in the kitchen for when I finish the Connolly book.

I got 7 books out from the library right now...giggle. but Im hooked into the account so I can keep books without being fined cuz I can re-check-out online...YAY! but for as much as I read a day, I'll prolly be finished with them before the late date. [in the last week Ive read 3 1/2 books. I love reading--and the quiet that comes with it, too...]
