finally, after maybe three, maybe four years, I put up a legit christmas tree (piss on the coldair return). I even did the porch in lights.
plus I loaded a bunch firewood--which paid off in spades. some of you may have noticed the four (almost five) inches of snow coating the mid-east so Im glad I aint gotta go outside for an armload. and it makes the lights look even more prettier.

course, it aint too cold out. I dug myself out a bit ago, got the walks all pretty and salty, and am running in/out building shelves. I could cut wood on the mitersaw in here and later clean the mess, but I kinda got veto'ed by the other one...she knows she'd be the one to clean it up, so she kinda insisted I cut outside. I can truck with that, she cooks and God knows the cook gotta be somewhat happy or the stomachs involved will pay the consequences.

thats about all of it...cept to again go on about how good Under the Dome is. Im still preparing myself for a standard SKLame ending, but at least the ride to that part could be some of the best fiction I've ever read.

didnt I say the same thing about Lisey's Story? I will reread that one, and even after two year, the story stands out in my head.

I wrote about twenty sentences yesterday about a screwy christmas delivery, then totally lost steam. after I get a few more thangs done with the shelving, gonna try to add some to it. I got the house to myself all day, so aside from being able to pick my nose anywhere and everywhere, I'll be able to type without any distractions. unless I get company or the phone rings or the cat wants to tell me something. I have an extremely smart cat...wanna hear about her?
