reading tami hoag's deeper than the dead. kinda slow [specially after so much of connally's frantic paced stuff] but an enjoyable read. next up, I believe, could be the next robert crais, the cole & pike series.

wanna get some more of david baldacci's stuff. mid-to-fast tempo, its really good stuff...I like him pretty good, I do say.

trying [and liking] new ciggies. ya buy a bag of tobacco and the tubes, toss em in a machine, and ya get 200 cigs [in a plastic tuppewear-ish container--ya gotta put them in packs yourself, no big deal] for $20. theyre just a bit stronger than a winston light, but smoother and much richer than a marlboro. been smokin them for a week or so and think Ill stay with 'em. hell, for 20 bucks, ya cant beat it.

rainy. after getting soaked working a half day putting the finishing touches on a house we just roofed and sided, its a great time for a nap. so fuck it, gonna grab my book and dive under the covers. anything of any importance can just wait--is what I say
