going fucking batshit here. aint been to the library in a few days [missed 'em yesterday cuz worked over and they closed--the bastards] and I aint got a fucking thing to read cept yesterday's newspaper. I didnt realize the addiction to books I have til now. I just feel like my arms fell off or something.

Id drive up to the library [and still might] but I can hardly walk today. was a long day on a ladder yesterday [over 10 hours] and all of my legs are throbbing. course, when those poor legs gotta hoist my fat ass up and down 26 feet over and over, who can blame them--Im surprised they work at all today]

so anyway, the dude we're working for happens to be a writer. well...one book published.

shadyside library has a few copies so Ill have to check it out. I just hope it doesnt suck--I dont wanna tell the dude to keep his day job, know what I mean? there has got to be a reason its outta print after 6 months. or was it just out of stock...I dont remember now. still, I gotta check it out. then let him know my opinion...and I will give him my honest opinion.

theres a few books awaiting pick-up at the library, plus theres an audiobook...King's UR. its 2 hours long, I dunno if I can sit still for that much time. it took me two days to get through shankshaw redemption, and I think it was like an hour anna half. audio books might be great in a car during a trip, but to just sit in a chair and listen to a book...well, that aint exactly perfect for me. if I didnt really wanna check-out the story, I wouldnt, but I dont believe it exists in print--correct me if Im wrong.

okay, the life in general part of today's message: work is going good, bills are finally getting under control after 4+ months of falling behind this winter, so Im happy about that. course, Im still broke cuz of catching up, but soon, one day prolly next month, Ill get my paycheck and say, "Wow, this is all mine to buy whatever I wanna buy." wow, what a thought. wheres a good crack dealer? [kidding...]

got a grad party to go to here directly, got my whiskey bottle/cold pepsi/ice all ready for consumption, and seeing as how the bottle has lasted for a few months, Ill prolly bring it back with very little missing. funny, after a long life of constant drunkeness, I dont want it that much anymore. I do like a stiff drink from time to time, but to get drunk? not really intrestid [giggle].
