So I've been back at work a week now, though it feels more like I'm inbetween projects. This is a little graphic thing I came up with for a new brochure my church is putting together. I was really excited about it last night. I still think it is cool, but I feel like I've borrowed elements some how from somewhere else. Either way, I do think it really encompasses how I feel about the church.

The cross is actually called the pilgram's cross and has been part of the churches visual vocabulary for sometime. The writing is actually the letter G and represents all the activity that has been going on recently. The dove is the spirit of moving forward, going out as explorers, peacemakers, sacrifices. I could have choosen a flame, but I found this to be more right.
