According to this blog, July is National Hot Dog month. I wish I'd known that before I cooked up a bunch of burgers. Mmmm, burgers, with cheese, and tomatoes and onions and mayo and mustard and pickles, when the bun is slightly toasted and all crispity . . .

Ahem.

So, hot dogs, as everyone knows, are classified "641.36 Meat" in the Dewey system, and are a staple of America's National Day of Chest Thumping (classified 394.2634). But then, so are Piccolo Petes, and sparklers.

Hot dogs just taste better.
