Okay, I admit it, I get happy over watches . . . timepieces in general, actually. I love listening to a grandfather clock tick, and carillon tones ringing in the quarter hour. I like pocket watches, wall clocks and all of 'em.*

But even I think maybe TAG Heuer is going a bit over the top with theme music from "2001: A Space Odessey" for their new watch commercial.

Though I like the Einstein quote. Classic.

*But I don't really care for digital, 'cause, see, how are kids supposed to learn clockwise from counterclockwise (nevermind their widdershins from their deasil!) if they never look at real clocks?
