Just starting to feel better after 6 days of massive headacheness. I went to the doctor last Thursday after what I thought was a routine migraine did not respond to routine migraine medicine. They gave me more drugs, which I took like a good doobie. But still no relief. Headache, nausea, and photophobia like you wouldn't believe. Then, over the weekend, fever and chills to round out the fun. I went back to the doctor yesterday--which, if you know my loathing for the medical set, is something of a miracle--and they gave me more drugs, muscle relaxants (Valium!), advice to rest for two days, and a note for work saying I'd be back on Wednesday.

I'll say this for valium: it's very relaxing. If I could slur my typing to show ya, I would.

Meanwhile, on the construction front, we're still trying to secure funding for the project, and still trying to figure out if the garage-can-become-an-apartment. It's slow going.

I did some updates on my website when I was less headachey over the weekend. Um, Sunday morning, I think. Added some pics of the other two Boyz, and stuff.

And now for the sleeping!
