Well as you can see if you go to my home page, I've been jotting down little stuff all week, but keeping the entries private. That's sorta like the nicotine patch for blogging, I guess. Anyway, they're public now.

As for the list of things to do:

• Finding a child-care person for the divine miss m We have a great candidate--still need to visit while kids are there. She took care of two girls in the church, as it turns out
  
• Finishing my first article for the Lectionary Commentary Series Almost done! Thank Friendly Editorial Staffperson for the extension
  
• Calling some additional folks to teaching and leadership for the fall adult spiritual growth ministries at the church Some other unexpected things have come up at church that have taken the energy I had "reserved" for that
  
• Actual forward progress on some presbytery Uber-Committee stuff See above
  
• This coming weekend's sermon--hopefully done and not sucking A very good start--good ideas and notes--jury's still out on the sucking
  
• A fruitful meeting of the Writing Revs on Wednesday (I need to finish a piece for them!) Yes!
  
• A long-postponed lunch with Clergy Pal and her kids Yes! Fun!
  
• Plans for R's birthday in a couple of weeks. Gifts ordered and on their way, pondering cake
