This week's Friday Five is simple: Name five things you have enjoyed this week.

Hmm. Just to spice it up, I'll do one for each of the five senses:

The sight of my hand cupped around the divine miss m's head while she nurses/sleeps--the cup is getting shallower and shallower as she grows and grows.

The fact that you can feel the Metro train coming before you can see or hear it--a burst of cool, humid air gusting from the tunneled earth.

The smell of the purple scented candle that burned in my office during a meeting of the contemplative ministry group.

The taste of Edy's peanut butter cup ice cream--the cups are fine and good, but the swirl of peanut butter is melt-in-your-mouth fantastic.

The sound of Clergy Guy Pal's voice on the phone yesterday. He lives in Old Southern Capital, and we meet in the middle every so often for breakfast at the IHOP right off the interstate. He and his lovely bride are expecting a boy, due Christmas Day.
