I am grateful for many kindnesses, great and small. I am also thankful for the generosity of spirit that so many people have shown towards me. That counts more than any gelt, pelf or currency.

At the same time, I regret any harm I may have done, either on purpose or unconsciously, and I seek the forgiveness of those I have wronged.

I recently experienced an incident in which someone else caused harm to my dog. She forgave him completely, and shows no sign of resentment or fear. If my dog can forgive and forget, can I do less?
