Thinking about trust today.

There's the trust I have for other people and for the world, generated probably because I am an optimist and I believe the best about each person I meet--unless he prove himself untrustworthy. I trust myself, that I am a good person. I trust the universe, that it will be as it be.

Then there's the trust I have for certain special people, because over the years they have been trustworthy. Not always "there for me" because life doesn't always allow them to drop everything at a moment's notice, but because their concern, caring and sense of fun was always at my back, good times and bad. I trust them with my life.
