A new reader e-mailed me with a request for a brief bio. Since I don't know if JournalScape has a bio page for writers, I decided (at the risk of seeming egotistical) to post mine again here:

Lives with cats, reads science fiction and historical fiction, walks in the rain, whispers to dogs. Writes the occasional story, listens to classical music. Earthquakes, El Nino floods, civil insurrections, fires, demonstrations, strikes. What's next?
