The viciously hot weather drives the ants indoors in search of food, coolth, water, who knows?

They have chosen my desk as the reconaissance area. Every once in a while I get out the hammer and kill off the scouts, hoping to discourage them. But nooooo, they just send in more.

Worst is when one gets on my hand or arm and bites. How can something so miniscule inflict so much pain?

Forget the meek inheriting the earth. It will be left to the ants and the cockroaches.
