I am cleaning house for our dinner tomorrow.

I am thankful I have a house to clean.

I am thankful I have a job I have to go to in order to make my mortgage payments for the house I have to clean.

I am thankful I have good health that enables me to hold down a job to earn the money for the mortgage for the house being cleaned.

I am thankful for the nutritious food that fuels my body and enables my good health to hold the job that pays the mortgage for the clean house.

I am thankful for the infrastructure that allows me to purchase the food, access electricity for appliances and drive my car so I can get to my job to earn food money and the mortgage money for the house about to be cleaned.

I am thankful for my husband and pets (not necessarily in that order); they provide me with emotional support and the dirt that needs to be cleaned (see above).

I am thankful for clean air to breathe and potable running water.

May these things for which I am thankful be extended to everyone, that no one go hungry, ragged or cold.
