I've made a new friend who is an expert in living, an expert at life. It's not that she sets a fancy table (a la Martha Stewart) or wears beautiful clothes or drives a fancy car. What makes her an expert is that she greets you with warmth, and engages you in great conversation and leaves you at the end with a feeling of joy.

At 90 years old, she is entitled to be called a master in the expertise of living. She is frail and old and living in limited circumstances. But her spirit is alive and well and radiating the warmth and charm that few women half her age could equal. She husbands her strength and spends it on her friends and family; it is returned a hundred-fold and the closed loop of love is truly life-enhancing for us all.
