The members of my book club and I have read lots and lots of books to date, and we are running out of titles to suggest for the future.

I'm recommending The Doomsday Book by Connie Willis for September's meeting and from there stretches a void. Not that there's any paucity of books, mind you (just take a look at my shelves), but none of them inspire me enough to recommend them for a group as diverse as the book club.

Any ideas? We've recently read several in the "interior monologue" category, so I'd like to see some variety. Fiction, nonfiction, it's all grist for the mill.
