2006-09-24 7:00 PM Drinkers Make More Money Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (5) A study has been done recently showing that men who drink make more money than men who don't and that women who drink make substantially more than those who abstain.
Is it seen that drinkers are more sociable and more likeable? Are women who drink subconsciously perceived as more sexually available? And more social, more available people are the ones who are hired and promoted. Social skills are more defining than job skills. I figured this out a long time ago and always accepted a drink for dinner or at a party. Not that I necessarily consume it, but I can play the game. It was a welcome relief when the Designated Driver campaign began, because I always willingly volunteer to be the DD and then there is no more pressure to drink to excess. What a relief! Comments?
