2007-11-18 6:13 PM The Wannoshay Cycle Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (2) I'm so disappointed. I just read the last page, and I want more. That's how I feel when I finish a really enjoyable book. Disappointed that there isn't more. And I'll never again have the pleasure of reading it for the first time.
My advice: BUY THIS BOOK and READ IT. If you don't, you'll be missing a very good reading experience. Michael Jasper, man, he can write up a storm. His ear for dialogue and his inner eye for action and visualization is spot on. A new book and a new baby boy. Yes, the man has been (and is) busy. But would it be too much to ask him to finish Sixteen Miles? Mike, thanks for writing a fine novel. P.S. I wanted to write a review, but I found that it is such a well-integrated novel, that if I say, "Watch for this theme" or "When you get to this part, read it twice", I'll say too much. This I will say: If you get to a certain point and think you know what's going to happen (because you saw the movie), think again. And, yes, it does have a very satisfying ending, just perfect. Did I mention that I enjoyed it? Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
