Today I'm up at the early hour, not to make bread ($) but to bake bread (whole wheat), so that later in the day we can break bread (Thanksgiving dinner) together.

The silence is amazing. Even the dog, who is given to snoring, is breathing quietly in and out.

Time to go check and see how it's rising, while the sun's a-rising early in the morning.
