For several years, years mind you, I have longed for one gift: the gift of a day, in which to do nothing, to read, to think, to be quiet.

This was that day, and such a day may not come around again, any time soon, or ever. I treasure it now and its quietness and serenity will be forever a source of strength--to know that days like today might be possible, have been granted, can exist like hours from which time has stepped aside.
