The tomatoes went into shock for a bit, but recovered nicely. The Early Girls even have blossoms, which gives me hope that in a couple of months (thereabouts) we will be enjoying fresh, organic, homegrown tomats. Yay! The one bean plant looks awfully lonely. I'm not sure why the others didn't sprout, but I'll replant tomorrow and try again. Also, there's another tomato volunteer. Last summer's volunteer gave as good a harvest as the ones planted intentionally. This one had to be transplanted (walkways are not good tomato patch places) and I'm not sure it will survive. Tore up and relaid a good piece of the patio walkway to get at it. The dog and two of the three cats watched me intently. Perhaps learning a bit about destruction of human constructs? Today Los Angeles, tomorrow the world. I live an interesting fantasy life. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
