They examined the fingers of 300 men and women, and correlated the results with answers to questionnaires filled out by the participants.
It turned out that the shorter a man's index finger was, compared to his ring finger, the more likely he was to be aggressive. No such relationship between finger length ratios and personality emerged among the women. Sure, I can see you now. You just took your hand off the mouse, straightened out your fingers, and judged the lengths of the index and ring fingers. Even the women. Heh. I did it, too. Canada's tax money at work.
