Scientists aren't sure why, but think that caffeine stimulates a region of the brain involved with sexual motivation.
Howsomever, remember that these rats were virgins where coffee drinking is concerned and knew naught of the joys of the double espresso venti. One might then conclude (on little or no evidence) that women who drink coffee regularly would be immune to the effects of the caffeine. At least where sexual activity is concerned. Not saying about being buzzed. Coffee: your abstinence drink of choice. Those of you who don't drink coffee--beware of the oily, smarmy, mustachioed villain who offers you a venti black eye (coffee with two shots of espresso). He has ulterior motives.
