Sue writes in her journal, "And those of us with cats all know that when they sleep they send out naps waves that reinforce human sleep." Just looking at a cat snoozing on the bed makes me want to take a nap.

Not only does her cat give out sleep waves, she (the cat) also sends long distance instruction to a certain California cat to do the same. This morning I slept until 7 a.m.! Can you believe it?! It felt wonderful.

The same cat seems to know I'm writing about her; she just jumped up to my elbow (move over!) and is meowing loudly (how does such a forceful sound come out of such a small animal?) for her treats (hairball remedy).

Cats are not to be gainsaid. I'll be back....
