The acronym for Incredibly Unending Days is IUD, which is shamelessly ganked from Sue's journal. One day runs seamlessly into the next until--my goodness!--it's Sunday already. Again.

The days are filled with full time work, shopping (not the fun kind), errands, laundry, a bit of housework, some cooking, 8 hours sleep, and upandatem again.

The days are not even in tone, however. They are punctuated by memorable angry abusive threatening customer service calls and exciting purchases of a new brand of shampoo and some warm socks.

Since I have eschewed comfort food, the only thing I can turn to is a good cup of coffee. And my journal. And occasionally time to read. And ear skritches for Misty (who is currently asleep behind me in the basket of clean clothes and purring up a storm).

Lesson? I feel better just listing the things that I do enjoy. I'm ready for that cup of coffee, now.
