2008-11-28 3:25 PM Wherein I Emulate Sue Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (3) As in, my incredibly uninteresting, unimaginative, uneventful, unmemorable day.
Morning ablutions. Breakfast. Got a haircut. Hemmed kitchen curtains. Cleaned countertop. Lunch, then a "sinking spell". Cleaned refrigerator. Put away (or gave away or threw away) everything related to dog. Amazing how much there was. Put kleenex boxes down on table tops where I can reach them easily (she was a paper snatcher--all paper goods had to be sequestered). I really should pay bills, since today was payday, but the motivation ain't there. Already paid mortagage, and the rest can wait a day or so. I wonder if the malls and stores and shopping areas will be as crowded tomorrow as they were today--I'd like to do a few errands tomorrow, but the thought of fighting traffic, finding a parking space and elbowing my way through crowds of frenzied shoppers is most unappealing. Never do today what you can put off until later. Of course, it's easier to say when you've already done a bunch of things. I hear a book calling my name....
