2009-05-19 2:25 PM Kindle on Airplane Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (7) I want to be able to read using my Kindle while I'm on the airplane. I have googled for this information, and not getting much of an answer.
My best guess is that Kindle will have to be turned off and stowed during takeoff and landing. But after reaching cruising altitude, it's ok to read with wireless turned off. No problem there, mate, as I'm much too busy during takeoff and landing to read. I'm urging the aircraft with all of my will to do its best to takeoff (or land) smoothly and under control. No time to read. While in flight I'll be reading with only the occasional mental reminder to the plane to stay on course and trouble free. I can turn the rest of my attention to the book. Now, where do I find what the dimension requirements are for carryon baggage? The TSA site is focussed nearly 100% on what you don't carry and/or wear. Probably best just to go naked and barefoot....
