Our English language is full of felicitous words and elegant expressions, none of which I use in my quotidian occupation, because custom demands that I restrict my verbal offerings to vocabulary and expressions that are commonly used by -- how shall I put it without sounding elitist? -- people with little acquaintance with books or the halls of higher learning. Yo mama. Now that would be understood easily. Righteous, dude. I can dig it. There are days, however, when I'd like to break out of the confinement of puerile exclamations and revel in the glories of untrammeled verbosity. Prolixity, even. Sigh. Later, y'all.
