I have a cat who is unclear on the concept of staying in out of the rain. One day I saw her standing in a puddle, in the rain. She picked up one paw, cleaned and dried it off carefully (other 3 paws in the puddle), then put it down (in the puddle) and picked up the other front paw and started once again to clean and dry the second one.
