I wrote an email to a coworker, concerning a vexing payroll problem I had observed while approving time yesterday. Her response made my day:

"It tells me that you're very observant and on top of things and that you care about your job. Please continue to notify me when you see something like this. If not it could create problems down the line.

Thank you for being you."

Very nice. And I take it as genuine, since this person has no hidden agenda that I could discern, and has always been straight with me.

Made my Friday a brilliant one!
