Do you ever have one of those days when you feel as if you've been infected with the somnolence bug and all you want to do is nap and read and then take another nap?

That's been my mode today; or rather, if I'd had my druthers, that's what I would have done. However, a caregiver's work is not something that can be cancelled at a whim. So today instead I made up the week's medications, went shopping for groceries, chauffeured him to and from the VA medical center, fed the cats and ourselves.

Not much in the way of accomplishments, but a lot considering what I would rather have done. Is it bedtime yet? No. Drat. Maybe I can get in an hour or so of reading and then slither off to a recumbent position.
