Before you swing your legs over the edge, in the dark, you've gone over in your mind the reminders of the day's tasks. Brushing your teeth, squinting at the bright light, you wonder if you remembered to put that file on your flash drive and on the drive to work you wonder if the flashing lights ahead are an emergency vehicle or just the occlusion of the oncoming headlights by cross traffic in the intersection ahead. Geetting dressed you remember that you have a semi-important meeting and you decide not to wear the black denims that you can usually get away with; you want your boss and your coworkers focused on your presentation, not your wardrobe.
