[I really hate it when I get most of an entry written and flash! it's gone].

I went to donate blood this afternoon but my hemoglobin level was too low. Not exactly anemic, but not high enough for donation. Poked me twice and only made it up to 12. I feel like a pin cushion.

Drat.

So for a couple of weeks I'm going to concentrate on high iron foods and just before donating stop taking calcium supplements and drinking tea, both of which drive hemoglobin levels down.

Try, try again.

As I said, Drat.
