It's 4 p.m. and I have finished all the tax stuff, paying bills and invalid visitations and I now have some time to read, have dinner, and relax.

Wow. Am I actually caught up? I keep looking around, thinking some horrible time-devouring task, forgotten until I think I'm done, is lurking around the corner, waiting to pounce.

I live for times like these, with the pleasurable glow of necessary tasks accomplished, a good cup of coffee, the company of cats and a great book. Doesn't get any better than this.
