Weeks ago I let my self be volunteered to participate in tonight's fund raising. One of those things where there's a spaghetti dinner and then amateur skits. I'm one of the seven dwarfs (excuse me, seven principles) in a skit based on...what was that Disney movie called?

I strenuously dislike these amateur half-baked skit things; I dislike making a fool of myself; and why on earth did I want to be a good sport and say I'd do it? Must have been smoking something. More likely half-asleep when they called me.

When people ask for help or cooperation, my first impulse is always to say yes, sure, of course. (My name is Rhubarb and I'm an Enabler.)

Must learn to pause, reflect, and say no occasionally. As I wish I had done for tonight's humiliating exercise.

So I'll dress up in a floppy felt hat, tunic, belt, leggings, boots and feel like an idiot. And smile.

Oh, by the way, I'm Happy. Type casting?
