I came to work today because this is a critical time, transitioning from one idiotic setup to another, dropping stuff between the cracks, dealing with highly placed people who don't know what they're talking about, and horse trading from one supervisor to another.

Bad idea. I was feeling pretty good at first (juiced up by a venti Starbuck's) but now I'm fading fast. If only my boss would go home early, I could crash for a bit and recover. But just my luck, he's staying the whole day, first time he's lasted a whole Friday since he started here.

Oh, well, Grit teeth and hunker down. Come Monday, I'll be fine.
