Christmas is over and I can relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. I'll leave cleaning out the car for tomorrow--anyway, it's raining. Nothing in the car worth getting cold and wet for.

In spite of my fears, and the stress early on (my crazy neighbor has been released from the hospital and is back tearing up his house), the day went quite well. Amazing what a positive mind set will do. A glass of wine doesn't hurt, either.

The rain pattering on the window keeps me company, as do the purring cats nearby. The heater just came on, a bass accompaniment.

All is well.
