I feel happy today--a dangerous thing, because events are on a knife edge, and who know what tomorrow will bring.

But for today there is the satisfaction of a "To Do" list accomplished for the past week, the comfort of coffee, the love of friends and community here and at Emerson.

Off to reset clocks throughout the house. Twice a year it comes to my attention just how many time pieces there are scattered about.

I hear the siren sound of the coffee maker burbling to me that it has finished brewing. Later!
