Time to get away from the blues and the greens, so here it is: Victorian Rose. Not sure if I'll be able to keep it for a whole month, since pink gets to be a bit much over the long haul.

Quiet and cool, getting dressed for work. Got my annual review yesterday. No, I don't walk on water, but overall it was "Exceeds Standards". Heck, I set the standard.

It may be my last annual review.

It's true I haven't shown any enthusiasm or initiative in the training aspect of my job. I have pretty much refused, point-blank, to train supervisors under me how to use software that doesn't perform up to spec. Fix it first, I say, do a pilot project, then come to me to train everybody.

So I was marked down to "Meet Standards" in that one area. Also in the area of getting along with everybody, since it is well understood by the entire division (if not the whole world) that I don't suffer fools gladly. Tolerate, but not glad about it, and vocal, too.
