Those few of us who are here at work keep reminding each other today is Friday. At least by the calendar it is.

Yesterday was a windup, Friday-type day. For most employees it was the last day before a 3-day or 4-day weekend (depending on their assignment) and for a great many other employees it was the last day before a 6-week hiatus. They will return to work August 15th.

And it was payday.

I woke up this morning, wondering why the alarm was going off, thinking it was Saturday. Oh, no, it's Friday and I have to hustle to get to work on time!

Wearing jeans and a tee shirt today, because today's the interim day between assignments and I can move the furniture, clean behind the computer, rearrange the shelves, set up new folders, make copies of concern forms, etc. Ready to rumble!

As usual someone has just wandered into my office to chat. People like to talk to me....
