Being over-caffeinated isn't a usual condition for me, since I'm pretty well habituated to my one venti coffee each day.

But yesterday my boss loaded a bunch of tasks on my desk before taking off on his week + 1 day vacation, and I went home cranky and tired.

I thought an iced cafe latte would perk me up and improve my mood, so I did the Starbucks drive through thing. It was delicious, cool, and I felt somewhat better by the time I got home.

When will I ever learn? Coffee that late in the day keeps me awake at night.

Today I'm paying the price for my poor choice of beverage.
