Grand Trine (April, August, December) is supposed to mean that things happen too easily, gifts or talents are taken for granted, life is superficial and irresponsible.

Don't know about that. Don't agree with it. I've worked hard, full time, for over 50 years, supporting not only myself but various family and friends. Doesn't feel like easy. Certainly has not been irresponsible--always early to work, reports done ahead of time, bills paid when I had the money before the due date.

The easy part. Well, I've been extraordinarily lucky. There's been the right job at the right time. I've married men and been in relationships that have taught me the painful lessons I needed to learn and which I would have avoided dealing with if left to myself on my own.

I'm grateful beyond words to the Universe for its gifts of intelligence, friendship, love. The only way I know how to say thank you is to pay it forward, being a friend when someone needs a sympathetic ear, providing a roof for a friend who's lost a job, adopting a daughter who had no one else to turn to.

I would re-define "grand trine", not to call it luck but great love and resilience.
